Characterised by strong, architectural lines, this contemporary oak dining table combines English and Dutch construction and design details, with cleated ends and Rietveld- inspired leg detailing.
The table top is partly engineered due to its cleated-end design and ensures this solid, beautifully crafted table is able to go the distance. It has the additional benefit of minimising the use of solid hardwood by favouring faster growing timber species that make up its core.
The green is a traditional Dutch colour typically used to paint the front doors of heritage houses.

Solid Certified Oak / Clear Oil & Wax — Prime grade, sustainably sourced solid oak & oak veneered birch plywood finished with natural clear oil and then a layer of natural clear wax.
Solid Certified Ash / Dutch Heritage Green — Prime grade, sustainably sourced solid ash & ash veneered birch plywood finished with a Dutch heritage green high gloss lacquer.

We use a traditional wood oil finish followed by wax, applied by even application to the timber planks. This finish seals the pores of the timber, enhancing the natural structure of the wood and forming a water repellent protection against everyday wear and tear. This finish deepens the natural colour of the timber. One important benefit of this finish is the relative ease with which damage is repaired, as the timber can be reapplied with wax at any moment. We recommend you use only products supplied or approved by Another Country.
