Delivery
We take great care in getting every fōrm&blōm order to you safely. Our collection ranges from small handmade objects to individually produced furniture and rugs, so the way an order reaches you may vary according to the piece.
This page explains our standard delivery arrangements for online orders.
UK mainland delivery
Standard delivery to mainland UK is:
£5.95 for orders up to £100
Complimentary for orders over £100
The applicable delivery charge will be shown at checkout before payment is taken.
Our complimentary delivery offer applies to eligible mainland UK addresses. At present, online ordering is available for UK delivery only.
For addresses outside mainland UK, including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man and other offshore locations, please contact us before placing your order. We will be happy to advise whether delivery is possible and provide a quotation where required.
Furniture, rugs & larger pieces
Furniture, rugs and other large, heavy or fragile pieces may be delivered using a specialist furniture carrier rather than a parcel courier.
Where an appointment is required, either we, the maker or our delivery partner will contact you to arrange delivery.
The delivery service provided may vary according to the size, weight, value and nature of the product. Unless expressly stated otherwise, delivery does not include installation, assembly, removal of doors or windows, electrical work, fixing to walls or floors, or disposal of existing furniture.
Please contact us before ordering if you have particular delivery requirements.
Lead times
Many pieces in our collection are handmade or produced in small batches. Others are made after an order is placed.
Any lead time shown on our website, supplied by email or discussed with you is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
Estimated lead times may change because of circumstances including workshop capacity, demand, availability of materials or components, production schedules, finishing processes, quality control, transport and other circumstances outside our direct control.
We work closely with our makers and will keep you informed where we become aware of a material change to an anticipated delivery date.
For products where a longer delivery period forms part of the order, placing the order constitutes agreement to that anticipated delivery period, subject always to your statutory rights.
If timing is particularly important, please contact us before ordering and we will do our best to confirm the latest information available.
Products shown as in stock
An indication that a product is in stock means that, to the best of our knowledge, stock is available when the website information is updated.
Occasionally an item may sell simultaneously in our studio-store or availability information supplied by a maker may change before our website updates.
If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. Where no suitable alternative is agreed, any payment taken for the unavailable item will be refunded.
Made-to-order pieces
Some furniture, rugs and other products are produced after your order is placed.
Lead times for these products are estimates and can vary.
Where a product is made specifically to your individual specification, personalised, specially commissioned or otherwise falls within an applicable exemption from statutory cancellation rights, this will be made clear before purchase wherever reasonably possible.
Please see our Returns & Refunds policy for further information.
Multiple-item orders
Where an order contains several products with different lead times, we may deliver the order in more than one consignment or wait until all items are available.
We will choose the most practical arrangement taking into account the products, their delivery method and their availability.
There is no additional standard delivery charge simply because we choose to divide an order into more than one delivery.
Access for furniture
Before ordering furniture or other large pieces, please check carefully that the item will fit:
through external and internal doors;
along corridors;
around corners;
through stairwells;
into lifts;
through gates or other access points; and
into its intended final position.
Please also consider parking restrictions, narrow roads, restricted access, steps and anything else that could prevent safe delivery.
Product dimensions are shown wherever possible, and we are very happy to help you consider access before you order.
If an item cannot be delivered because suitable access has not been provided, we reserve the right to charge the reasonable additional costs actually incurred as a result, including re-delivery, specialist access, return carriage or storage where applicable.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Delivery appointments
Where a delivery appointment has been agreed, please ensure that somebody authorised to accept the goods is present and that suitable access is available.
If a pre-arranged specialist delivery cannot be completed because nobody is available or because access has not been provided, reasonable re-delivery or storage charges incurred may be payable by you.
Receiving your order
Please inspect packaging and, where reasonably possible, the item itself when it arrives.
If you notice obvious damage, please make a note with the delivery driver where possible and contact us promptly.
Where damage is not apparent until the package is opened, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and retain the item and its packaging.
Photographs of the product, packaging and shipping label are extremely helpful when investigating transit damage.
Please do not dispose of packaging relating to a damaged item until we have advised you that it is no longer required.
Risk during delivery
We remain responsible for goods until they are delivered into the physical possession of you or a person identified by you to receive them, except where you independently appoint a carrier that we have not offered as a delivery option.
Flowers
Fresh floral designs are subject to separate delivery availability because of their perishable nature.
Available delivery areas, dates and any applicable local arrangements will be displayed when ordering or agreed directly with you.
Flowers and other perishable goods cannot be treated in the same way as ordinary homeware for change-of-mind returns. Please see our Returns & Refunds policy.
Collection from our studio-store
Where Click & Collect is offered, collection is complimentary.
Please wait until we have confirmed that your order is ready before travelling to collect it.
You may be asked to provide your order confirmation and identification when collecting a high-value order.
Delays beyond our reasonable control
Occasionally circumstances outside our reasonable control may delay manufacture or delivery.
These can include disruption affecting makers or carriers, severe weather, shortages of materials, industrial action, transport disruption, fire, flood, governmental restrictions, import or customs delays and similar events.
Where this happens, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and keep you informed where appropriate.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you may have if goods are not delivered within an agreed or legally applicable period.
Questions about delivery
Furniture and handmade products do not always lend themselves to one-size-fits-all logistics.
If you have questions about delivery, access, timing or a particular piece, please contact us before ordering. We would much rather help arrange things correctly from the outset.
