Originating from the Moravian Church tradition in Herrnhut, Saxony, the Herrnhuter Star has been associated with Advent for generations. Its distinctive geometric form developed from the star-making practices of Moravian schools in the 19th century.
Today, original Herrnhuter Sterne continue to be made in Germany, preserving a tradition that brings together geometry, craftsmanship and the symbolism of light.
