Otis Dining Table

OTIS stands as an acronym for 'Off The Industry Shelf', the OTIS table represents John Green's vision to create a timeless classic through an earnest and resourceful approach to design.

The flat-pack solid timber frame introduces straight forward assembly without compromising durability, whilst being friendlier to the environment. Each Otis table top is hand made in our workshop, from solid Oak that has been carefully selected by our team. The tables are hand finished with multiple layers of Matt Water-based Lacquer, creating a product that is ultra durable and super easy to maintain.

If preferred, our tables can be finished with a Hard-Wax oil upon request. Just get in touch once you've ordered.

Alternatively, the Otis tables can be made of Birch Plywood, laminated using Fenix NTM by Formica, an award winning laminate material. The extremely opaque, soft touch and anti-fingerprint surface is complimented by a range of 20 tasteful colours to match any interior. This advanced material provides thermal healing of superficial micro-scratches, delivering a product that is ultra durable, easily repairable and guaranteed to stand the test of time.

We use a traditional wood oil finish followed by wax, applied by even application to the timber planks. This finish seals the pores of the timber, enhancing the natural structure of the wood and forming a water repellent protection against everyday wear and tear. This finish deepens the natural colour of the timber. One important benefit of this finish is the relative ease with which damage is repaired, as the timber can be reapplied with wax at any moment. We recommend you use only products supplied or approved by Another Country.
