The Sculptural One is about line, texture and vertical movement. A dense botanical centre anchors the composition, while grasses, branches and trailing materials extend above and below, creating a deliberately elongated and expressive silhouette.
Drawing on our architectural background, we consider the piece as an object in space — balancing mass with lightness, density with openness, and allowing individual materials to project beyond the central composition.
The exact materials will change throughout the year. Rather than prescribing particular varieties, we select the best available elements to achieve its layered texture, elongated form and sculptural character.
Your piece will therefore be recognisably The Sculptural One, but it will also be uniquely yours.
Designed and made by hand in our Oakham studio.

Each botanical swag is individually made by hand, and its natural materials determine some of its final form and proportions.
The composition is intentionally elongated, with branches, grasses and trailing botanical elements extending beyond its denser centre. Dimensions will therefore vary slightly from piece to piece.
Approximate size: H 50cm | W 25cm
I'd definitely give overall maximum height and width here because that will matter considerably when someone is deciding where to hang it.

The Sculptural One takes the traditional floral swag and treats it as a three-dimensional botanical composition.
Rather than creating a uniform arrangement, we bring together contrasting forms: a dense central mass, fine branching lines, upright grasses and materials that fall freely below. The spaces between them are as important as the materials themselves.
Our architectural background informs the way we work with line, proportion, structure, balance and negative space, allowing the piece to occupy the wall almost like an object or artwork.
The result sits deliberately somewhere between floristry, natural decoration and botanical sculpture.

We work with the season rather than to a fixed botanical recipe. The evergreen foliage, branches, berries and other natural materials used in The Winter One will therefore vary according to what is available and at its best.
We favour seasonal and British-grown materials wherever possible, choosing each element for its form, texture, colour and suitability for the composition.
Fresh materials will naturally dry, fade and change after the wreath has been made. We embrace this evolution as part of the piece: its appearance will develop gradually throughout the season rather than remaining static.
Your botanical swag will not be an exact reproduction of the photograph. We will instead preserve its overall form, palette, texture and sculptural character, creating an individual piece from the materials available to us at the time.

Every fōrm&blōm wreath is individually designed and made by hand in our Oakham studio in Rutland.
Our approach grows from our backgrounds in architecture and design. We work with natural materials much as we work with other materials — considering structure, proportion, texture, balance and the way an object occupies space.
We don't work from a production-line recipe. Each wreath develops in response to the particular branches and botanical materials in front of us, allowing their natural forms to influence the finished composition.
No two will be precisely alike. We think that's part of their beauty.

Your botanical swag is made from natural materials and will continue to change as it ages.
Display it somewhere cool and dry, away from excessive heat, strong direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to rain or damp. We recommend displaying this piece indoors or in a well-sheltered location.
Fresh botanical materials will gradually dry and colours may soften or change over time. This natural ageing is part of the character of the piece rather than a fault.
Handle gently, particularly as materials dry and become more delicate.
