An expressive seasonal wreath composed from twisting branches, dried and fresh botanical material, seed heads and textural foliage. Its open, asymmetric form celebrates the natural character of each element, creating a wreath that feels more like a botanical sculpture than a conventional floral arrangement.

  • The Wild One is about line, texture and natural irregularity. Twisting branches establish its structure, while flowers, foliage, seed heads and other botanical materials gather and disperse around the form.

    Drawing on our architectural background, we treat the wreath as a composition in space. Areas of density are balanced by openness and negative space, allowing individual branches to project beyond the traditional circular outline.

    The exact materials will change throughout the year. Rather than prescribing particular varieties, we select what is naturally available to achieve the wild structure, muted palette and richly textural character of the composition.

    Your wreath will therefore be recognisably The Wild One, but it will also be uniquely yours.

    Designed and made by hand in our Oakham studio.

  • Each wreath is individually made by hand, and its natural materials determine some of its final form and proportions.

    The dimensions therefore vary slightly from piece to piece. Branches and other botanical elements may extend beyond the main body of the wreath — an intentional part of its loose, sculptural character.

    Please allow for these natural variations when choosing where your wreath will hang.

  • The Wild One explores the wreath as structure rather than decoration.

    Instead of concealing its framework beneath a uniform covering of foliage, we allow branches to remain visible, tracing lines through and beyond the circular form. Botanical materials gather more densely in some areas and almost disappear in others, making the empty space within and around the wreath part of the composition.

    Our architectural background naturally informs this approach: line, structure, balance, material and negative space are considered as carefully as the flowers themselves.

    The result is intentionally irregular — a seasonal object somewhere between floristry and botanical sculpture.

  • We work with the season rather than to a fixed botanical recipe. The branches, flowers, foliage, seed heads and dried materials used in The Wild One will therefore vary according to what is naturally available and at its best.

    We favour seasonal and British-grown or locally gathered materials wherever possible, choosing each element for its form, texture, colour and suitability for the composition.

    Fresh materials may naturally dry, fade and change after the wreath has been made. We embrace this evolution as part of the piece: its appearance will develop gradually over time rather than remaining static.

    Your wreath will not be an exact reproduction of the photograph. We will instead preserve its overall structure, palette, texture and character, creating an individual piece from the materials available to us at the time.

  • Every fōrm&blōm wreath is individually designed and made by hand in our Oakham studio in Rutland.

    Our approach grows from our backgrounds in architecture and design. We work with natural materials much as we work with other materials — considering structure, proportion, texture, balance and the way an object occupies space.

    We don't work from a production-line recipe. Each wreath develops in response to the particular branches and botanical materials in front of us, allowing their natural forms to influence the finished composition.

    No two will be precisely alike. We think that's part of their beauty.

  • Your wreath is made from natural materials and will continue to change as it ages.

    To preserve it for as long as possible, display it somewhere cool and sheltered from excessive heat, strong direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to rain or damp. If hung outdoors, a protected porch or sheltered doorway is preferable.

    Fresh botanical materials will gradually dry and colours may soften or change over time. This natural ageing is part of the character of the wreath rather than a fault.

    Handle gently, particularly as materials dry and become more delicate.

  • Delivery is included in the price of this wreath.

    Each wreath is individually made in our Oakham studio and carefully packaged to protect its natural, projecting elements during its journey.

    Because we work with seasonal materials, availability and dispatch times may vary. Please select your preferred delivery date when ordering where available.
