The Winter One is about evergreen structure, seasonal colour and negative space. Fresh pine and foliage extend beyond the exposed willow circle, while berries and richly coloured botanical accents bring warmth and contrast.
Drawing on our architectural background, we treat the wreath as a composition in space. Areas of density are balanced by openness, allowing the structure itself to remain visible and individual branches to project beyond the traditional circular outline.
The exact materials will change throughout the season. Rather than prescribing particular varieties, we select the best available elements to achieve the evergreen palette, asymmetric structure and natural character of the composition.
Your wreath will therefore be recognisably The Winter One, but it will also be uniquely yours.
Designed and made by hand in our Oakham studio.

Each wreath is individually made by hand, and its natural materials determine some of its final form and proportions.
The dimensions therefore vary slightly from piece to piece. Foliage, branches and other botanical elements intentionally extend beyond the main body of the wreath, creating its loose, sculptural silhouette.
Please allow for these natural variations when choosing where your wreath will hang.

The Winter One reinterprets the traditional Christmas wreath through structure, asymmetry and restraint.
Rather than concealing the entire frame beneath a uniform mass of foliage, we leave much of its natural structure exposed. Evergreen branches gather and extend from particular points, while small areas of seasonal colour provide contrast without overwhelming the composition.
Our architectural background informs the way we work with line, structure, balance, material and negative space. The empty centre and exposed frame are as important to the composition as the foliage itself.
The result feels unmistakably seasonal, but deliberately avoids the fullness and symmetry of a conventional Christmas wreath.

We work with the season rather than to a fixed botanical recipe. The evergreen foliage, branches, berries and other natural materials used in The Winter One will therefore vary according to what is available and at its best.
We favour seasonal and British-grown materials wherever possible, choosing each element for its form, texture, colour and suitability for the composition.
Fresh materials will naturally dry, fade and change after the wreath has been made. We embrace this evolution as part of the piece: its appearance will develop gradually throughout the season rather than remaining static.
Your wreath will not be an exact reproduction of the photograph. We will instead preserve its overall structure, evergreen character, restrained colour palette and textural quality, creating an individual piece from the materials available to us.

Every fōrm&blōm wreath is individually designed and made by hand in our Oakham studio in Rutland.
Our approach grows from our backgrounds in architecture and design. We work with natural materials much as we work with other materials — considering structure, proportion, texture, balance and the way an object occupies space.
We don't work from a production-line recipe. Each wreath develops in response to the particular branches and botanical materials in front of us, allowing their natural forms to influence the finished composition.
No two will be precisely alike. We think that's part of their beauty.

Your wreath is made from natural materials and will continue to change as it ages.
To preserve it for as long as possible, display it somewhere cool and sheltered from excessive heat, strong direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to rain or damp. If hung outdoors, a protected porch or sheltered doorway is preferable.
Fresh foliage will gradually dry and colours may soften or change over time. This natural ageing is part of the character of the wreath rather than a fault.
Handle gently, particularly as materials dry and become more delicate.
