Legards Stool

This stool has been hand crafted using timber sourced within a few miles of the workshop. It is contemporary in design but uses traditional joinery to ensure a lifetime's stability.

Hand tools are used to shape the legs from octagonal to square and the tenons are turned by hand on a lathe

Available in :

  • Oak, Finished in a hardwax Oil.

  • Ebonized Oak, using a traditional ebonizing solution made by Patrick. This method dates back hundreds of years and gives a beautiful tone whilst popping the grain. After ebonizing the stool is then given coats of a hardwax oil for protection.

  • Ash, finished with hardwax Oil

  • Sapele
